Almost 100 women from across BiH, representatives of the government, civil society, political and public life, entrepreneurs, legal experts have participated in the actions of the Initiative “Let’s Include Women into Changing Processes”. The actions included four thematic round tables during 2017 and 2018 with the focus on labor rights, health care and social protection as well as the issues related to sustainable development and justice.
Round tables resulted in Report that includes observations and proposals that participants presented during round tables organized as part of the pilot phase of the Initiative. The purpose of this Report is to show the importance of including women into politics and public life in BiH as well as to present consequences of the current misrepresentation of women and limited care for gender equality and empowerment of women.
Proposals and solutions for amending the Constitution of BiH that would enable better protection of rights and freedoms with the special emphasize on including gender aspects, provided by members of the Initiative “Women Citizens for Constitutional Reform” that actively participated at the round tables focused on sustainable development, have been implemented and found its place in this Report.
