Čović and Izetbegović at a conference on the 20th anniversary of Dayton!

images (1)BiH Presidency Chairman Dragan Cović and member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović will attend today in Banja Luka conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement, titled “Twenty Years of the Dayton Peace Accords views”.
The conference is organized in three panel discussions: Views, Views of the region, Look from the outside. Panel discussion “Views” is on “Reflections on the Dayton Peace Agreement and the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Points of agreement and disagreement – obstacles or path to understanding within BiH?”, and the speakers will be the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Dragan Čović and member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović.


The first panel will participate and the entity presidents, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, as a special guest.

The second panel discussion is “Views of the region” on the subject of regional cooperation – the position of BiH in comparison to neighbors; Does the Dayton constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina presents a problem for regional cooperation? In this discussion, the panelists are regional politicians and
distinguished guests from neighboring countries.

The third panel discussion “Views from the outside” with the theme: Dayton arrangement of BiH and EU accession; What to do with this arrangement of BiH – how to overcome the obstacles? On this topic will speak representatives of the signatory countries of the Dayton Peace Agreement (United States, Russia, the United Kingdom and the High Representative in BiH, EU and OSCE).
Conference is organized by “Nezavisne Novine” and the City of Banja Luka, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Presidency and other institutions.


The conference will be held in Banja Luka, starting at 11.00 am on Thursday, in Banski Dvor said the BiH Presidency.
